Top Universities in Canada 2013

In 2013, four Canadian universities ranked in the Top 100 of the ARWU (Academic Ranking of World Universities) Ranking and 23 in the Top 500; with the University of Toronto rated No. 1 in Canada and No. 28 in the world, followed by the University of British Columbia (ranked No. 2 in Canada and No. 40 in the world).

Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne is ranked No. 1 in Europe for its science output, according to the Leiden University World Rankings, which provide a measurement of the scientific impact and performance of 500 major universities worldwide and their involvement in scientific collaboration.

The University of St Andrews is ranked top in Scotland and 8th in Europe in the Leiden Ranking 2013.

Top Universities in Australia 2013

The University of Melbourne is ranked No. 1 in Australia and 54th worldwide according to the Academic Rankings of World Universities (ARWU) for 2013, ahead of Australian National University (No. 2 in Australia and 66th worldwide).

The University of Queensland has improved its position in the top 100 Academic Rankings of World Universities for 2013, ranked 85th overall worldwide, its best-ever

Law School Rankings 2014 (US News)

Yale Law School took the top spot in the 2014 U.S. News law school rankings, followed by Harvard University and Stanford University (both tied for the 2nd place).

The University of Virginia School of Law retained its No. 7 ranking, tied with the University of Pennsylvania. Its tax law program was tied with two others for 7th in that specialty.
